Elizabeth Arguelles

Elizabeth Arguelles, MD, FACS, is a board-certified breast surgeon who specializes in the care of patients with both benign and malignant breast disease. She is the first breast surgeon in Collier County to receive Hidden Scar Certification, which is a program that focuses on improving cosmetic outcomes for patients while preserving outstanding oncologic results. Her certification in this technique exemplifies her commitment to using the most advanced techniques and to offer her patients treatment that is as unique as they are. Additionally, she is trained in oncoplastic surgery, which is the art of combining plastic surgery tissue transfer techniques with cancer surgery to treat cancer, while preserving the natural form of the breast. 

As a member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons and a participant in the Mastery of Breast Surgery Program, Dr. Arguelles upholds the highest standard of care for her breast patients. In Connecticut, Dr. Arguelles was a key leader in the creation of the Lawrence + Memorial Breast Health Center where she led the center from concept to full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Dr. Arguelles is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. 

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
