Dr. Daniel Baseman completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, just a few miles from where he grew up. Prior to that, he received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Though he treats patients with all types of cancers, his specific interests in radiation oncology include stereotactic ablative radiotherapy and radiosurgery, image guided treatment delivery, and the psychological aspects of a cancer diagnosis and its associated treatments. He has published multiple journal articles and abstracts and is board certified in radiation oncology.
